KEYNOTE LUNCHEON

We are pleased to announce that Charlie J. Harris will be the keynote speaker at the Keynote Luncheon at the inaugural St. Louis Diversity Job Fair. Mr. Harris is a partner at the Kansas City law firm of Seyferth, Blumenthal & Harris, LLC, which he joined in March 2008.

Mr. Harris focuses his practice in employment discrimination and commercial litigation matters. Mr. Harris was elected President of the Missouri Bar Association in September 2007, and was the first African-American elected to that position. Mr. Harris has also served on the Missouri Bar Association’s Board of Governors since 1999.

Mr. Harris is a graduate of the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law where he was a member of the UMKC Law Review, and is a recipient of the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law’s Pat Kelley Distinguished Alumni award for service to the community, bar, and civic organizations. Mr. Harris also serves on the Federal Practice Committee for the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri. Prior to entering private practice, Mr. Harris served as a law clerk to the Honorable Fernando Gaitan, District Judge on the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri.
